While these macroeconomic trade figures indicate massive commercial movement, many western companies still enter the region using legacy partner selection methods designed for entirely different market environments.

Corporate leaders must recognize that macro trade volume does not equal immediate market access; category-specific route-to-market viability must be proven at the border.
